Natural Rare Earth Magnets

Magnets are used for many purposes. They work well on the refrigerator hanging children's pictures. They are also used in key places in the electronic and music fields. When rare Earth magnets are mined from beneath the crust they are brittle and will corrode easily. This type of magnet is very powerful in and of their own capacity. Though they are called rare Earth magnets the name does not really mean they are uncommon. The term rare refers to the magnetic force they possess. It is unusually strong as mentioned above. It is believed to be so because of the way their substances of lanthanide and iron compounds mix in the core of the Earth and that creates a stronger magnetic field. Recreating this series of events has allowed man to have more of it at their service.





Magnets are responsible for assisting in many modern inventions. The magnetic pull and push causes objects placed just so to turn the components within an engine, clock, computer, and even in medical equipment to power the machine. It was a fairly simple process once it was understood. It has been conceived if not explored that this powerful force could be the next wave in the future of clean running automobiles.




Many people may not know it but the computer they use every day has a magnetic device that keeps their engine running. The hard drive of a computer is made with a combination of ceramic, glass and metal. Then a micro thin layer of carbon is adhered to it to help protect it from damage. The last layer and the part that touches your fingers when working with one is coated with magnetic layer that is manipulated by key strokes to manipulate the data in your system and show it to you in a way that makes sense. Magnets rare Earth are not only functional but fun as well. Many kid toys are built using one form or other of magnets. Dragging a magnet from a broken speaker through the dust in the back yard used to be a favorite pass time. All kids were fascinated by the tiny iron particles that would remain on the thing when they pulled it back. Some of those kids may be the scientists that are working the fields of research and programming that helped bring about the technological advances we have today.
